PARSIGHT GOLF · PRIVACY
Privacy notice
This notice describes the assessment and community data behavior currently implemented in PARSIGHT GOLF. It is deliberately specific about what the app does and does not currently establish.
Effective date: Customer confirmation needed — no effective date is established in this checkout.
What this notice covers
This notice covers the free swing assessment, assessment results, the authenticated account assessment list, anonymous result links, Town Square posts with optional swing clips, and bounded product telemetry around those journeys.
It reflects the behavior visible in the current application. The repository does not establish a legal entity or controller name, a complete processor list, international-transfer terms, or a formal data-subject request workflow; those details still need customer confirmation.
Assessment data and browser-side processing
The free assessment lets you record a swing with your browser camera or select an existing video. The clip is staged locally in the browser. The browser samples it with the pose landmarker and sends at most 600 timestamped pose frames to the assessment endpoint; the assessment route does not receive the raw video file.
The request includes the selected camera view and may include the optional suspected-fault context from the quiz. The resulting assessment stores the score, tier, posture, alignment, swing-plane and tempo sub-grades, summary notes, view, frame count, sampled duration, optional suspected fault, and creation time.
- Browser camera access or video selection is used to create the local clip for analysis.
- Pose frames, rather than the raw assessment video, are sent for grading.
- The assessment can be created anonymously or while signed in.
The exact retention term for saved assessment rows, and a user-facing deletion workflow, are not established in the current application. No raw assessment-video retention is represented in the inspected assessment flow.
Results, accounts, and anonymous links
When you are signed in, the assessment is tagged with your signed-in user ID and can appear in your account assessment area. Anonymous assessments are allowed and can be read through their unguessable result ID; they are not placed in a user's saved list.
The public result route is designed around that result ID. Treat an anonymous result link as something that can disclose the result to anyone who obtains the link.
The current application does not provide a user-facing assessment deletion flow. It also does not establish a precise retention period for assessment rows or other account data beyond the Town Square expiry described below.
Swing footage in Town Square
Authenticated Town Square posts may include an MP4 or MOV swing clip up to 100 MB and 15 seconds. The server uploads the clip through the Polsia R2 storage proxy, stores the returned storage reference and media metadata, and exposes the clip URL in the public feed.
A Town Square post, its replies, and an attached clip are intended to expire after 24 hours. Feed cleanup deletes expired database rows and makes a best-effort deletion request for the related R2 object.
- Accepted format: MP4 or MOV.
- Maximum file size: 100 MB.
- Maximum duration: 15 seconds.
The public feed means an attached clip may be viewed by other visitors during its active window. The current implementation does not describe a separate private clip mode.
Bounded assessment and funnel telemetry
The app records bounded events around the assessment journey, such as event, stage, outcome, record-versus-upload mode, failure codes, route, and sanitized attribution fields. An optional authenticated user ID may be added by the server.
The browser uses an opaque visitor ID in local storage and a journey ID plus active-stage state in session storage. These identifiers support bounded journey measurement; they are not the raw video or a profile of arbitrary metadata.
- Recorded fields are limited to the event and journey context needed for the funnel.
- Visitor and journey identifiers are opaque values generated in the browser.
- The contract excludes raw video and direct contact or device identifiers listed above.
Sharing and security scope
Signed-in account features use the app's authentication and access checks. Anonymous result access is based on possession of an unguessable result ID, and Town Square clips are public while their posts are active.
This page does not make broader security, encryption, processor, hosting, or international-transfer promises that are not documented by the current checkout.
